Give Technology A Chance

As a consumer, I was terrified of technology many have said to me that I was behind the power curve when it came to upgrading my selected items. At first, I thought about what the big idea is but then I was exposed to it on a more personal level (both at home and work) and now to my surprise school. I guess when it came to using it I just preferred the old fashion way. I’m happy to inform the world that now I can’t get enough of it but I proceed with caution. Since I’m in the process of learning more and more technology it’s definably incredible that I long for more. Here in the near future, I plan to become a College Professor my order of operation will be both in the classroom and online/distance study.
The world around us is changing on a rapid basis, just the other day I read in the News that in order to keep up with the demand for continuing education more schools and colleges have to be built. Well if you ask me that’s a rather large order to fill however it opens the door for a number of opportunists. The first time I remotely heard anything regarding taking online classes I was terrified---you’re going to love this but I thought taking an online class was just for extremely smart people. Yes, you can go ahead and laugh now because that’s what I thought…I believe that one of the things that got me was having to find an alternative way of presenting the information. Of course school, the economy, family, social media, the Internet, and online banking had done it for me. It’s like understanding the basic concepts of society---the hidden nonverbal clues governing how something should be done or looked at by individuals in society. I was talking to someone the other day and they asked me a simple question: When was the last time you sent a letter? Hum! I must have thought for about five whole minutes; then I remembered, about five years ago.
